FAQs

Our services.

Where are meetings held?

We can meet at your home, place of work or via video call (Zoom/MS Teams). We also have a membership at a private members club in Central London where we can meet if this would be more convenient for you. Meetings can be arranged during our usual office hours of 9am to 5:30pm.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?

No, initial meetings are at our cost. The initial meeting is a chance for both of us to get to know each other better and to see if we can add value to your circumstances.

What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?

Just yourself and an open mind. If you have any paperwork relating to financial products you already have in place then bringing those along would be helpful, but it isn’t essential.

How long should I allow for an initial meeting?

The initial meeting should take around an hour.

Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?

No. At the end of the initial meeting, we will explain to you the service that we are able to offer and the costs involved. You will then have an opportunity to consider this before we undertake any research on your behalf.

How can I book an initial meeting?

You can book via phone, email or the contact form here on our website. We also offer Calendly – a facility to book your appointments directly online.

Are you independent?

Yes. As an independent financial planning firm, we are able to offer products available from the whole of the market to help you achieve your financial planning objectives.

Are you regulated?

Yes. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can find us on the FCA register here

What do you charge for a financial plan?

The fee charged for a financial plan varies depending upon complexity. It can range from ÂŁ1,500 to ÂŁ10,000 (plus VAT). At the end of the first meeting once we know more about you and your aspirations, we will be able to provide you with an accurate cost which will be detailed in our Disclosure Document. We will not proceed with any additional work until you are happy with the fee agreed.

Do you get commission?

We do not receive commission payments on investment-based financial products. Where protection products (e.g. life assurance) are implemented as part of your financial plan, a commission payment may be received from the provider. All commissions will be disclosed to you prior to an application being submitted.

Do you charge VAT?

The financial planning fee is subject to VAT. Implementation fees and ongoing fees are not subject to VAT as they are classed as intermediation.
