Hello, my name is Dawn Gallimore. I’ve been a client of Meaningful Financial Planning since its inception, and I have known Aaron for 15 years.

The reason that I contacted Aaron is that I had reached a point in my career where I’d had two or three different roles, I had a number of pensions, and I’d also reached the age of 40, so I was starting to think about my future, and I felt that I needed some advice about how to plan for it.

I met Aaron 15 years ago, and we started our working relationship with my financial planning. When he set up Meaningful, it was an easy decision to stay with him. We’d achieved quite a lot. We’d set out a plan, he’d take me through that plan, and it was delivering. So, it was the right choice for me to make to stay with him and join Meaningful.

In the time that I’ve worked with Aaron, he’s helped me through some significant life milestones. One of them was when I got divorced, and how to handle the pensions between me and my ex. He also helped me when I was semi-retiring at 53 with how to handle my funds and what to do with the funds at that point. Also, he helped when I wanted to help a family member buy a house, he guided me on how I could use my funds to help them but make sure that I was secure at the same time.

Since working with Aaron, I feel that my financial future is very sound. I’ve got a structured plan that shows what I can afford to spend, how I can live my life, and, if anything, Aaron encourages me to live my life, enjoying the fruits of my hard work over the years.

The way I would describe Aaron is incredibly helpful; he’s always there when you need some advice. He’s constructive, he doesn’t always say, “Yes”, and he doesn’t always say “No”, he gives you a confident response, and he’s really reliable; he’s always there when you need to talk to him.

One of the best things about working with Aaron is that I feel empowered in my later life. I’m around two years away from fully retiring, and I feel that the knowledge he’s given me about my financial security gives me great confidence for the next part of my life.

I would definitely recommend Aaron and Meaningful. In fact, I have recommended him to colleagues whom I work with now, and over the years that I’ve worked with him, I’ve recommended him to a number of colleagues and friends. He is a joy to work with and gives me great confidence about where I’ll be in the future.
